Maybe everyone else know about this. A week or so ago i was presented with a clone stratocaster. Its about 130USD for a complete package. Its body is made out of plywood. At the time i just locked and said ok thats fine (its free). Closer inspection revealed a great nunber of dents and scratches, you could also see the wood sheets tru the paint.

Anyway sinc i used to buil balsa boats i had lying around some wood filler single component so decide to give it a go. Its the even better tham auto grade fillers or the ready made ones at the Hardware store. takes around 30 minutes to dry to a hard finish but still more tham enough flex to "play with the wood.

Its from simprop Name : schnell spatchel ref: 112 34 8 , its with so only if painting in solid color.

I found that if the dents aren't too deep, a damp rag, and a hot iron will swell the wood enabling you to sand it flush. Good trick, works great!
